'TIL DEATH DO US PARTY
Back after a lengthy time off sorting out monikers, line-ups and deals, the boyos from the valleys return with a statement of intent that rocks your little
socks off! Midasuno cram so many ideas into each song on this mini album that it hurts - and frankly if you can't find something to enjoy here - then there
must be something wrong with you. The hip-swinging 'The Law Of Tooth And Fang', the urgent tones of 'A Machine The Rhythm Thief' and the frantic 'Shock
Horror' show Midasuno can't be arsed with following trends and instead combine tasty melodies with hook-laden rock punches, that playfully tease the old
cochlea! The underdogs are back, here's looking forward to the full-length later this year.

It seems like forever since 2003's 'When Bulls Play God'. That long wait was because of internal band changes; label political BS and all that. But that's
all in the past now and Midasuno are back with a fresh mini-album and signed to a new label. Does this future look bright? Judging from this catchy
concoction, then hell yes. 'Til Death Do Us Party' (what a great title!) consists of five tracks of unremitting rock. 'Taste Of The Virus' is probably the
best track. There is a slight American whine to their sound and each song sounds a bit too similar but this is a good growing point and piece of preparation
for their first full-lengh debut album, purportedly out later in the year.

A TASTE OF MIND FUCKS TO COME FROM THE VALLEY
How does one begin to describe the unhinged madness that is Merthyr Tydfil's Midasuno? One minute they're chopping and lurching like Fugazi, then they're
barrelling through solo's like Slash, then they'll completely change tack to left-field electronica before rounding off with a blow out that sounds like Mars
Volta playing every instrument they've ever owned at the same time while drunk. And blindfolded. Sat on a see-saw. And that's during the first song. It's
occasionally a mess but more often it's riotously good, and as a precursor to their 'Songs In The Kay Of Fuck' album this five-track EP is a tasty appetiser.

'TIL DEATH DO US PARTY
Welsh rockers that are de-tuned in every sense. Three years ago, Midasuno had something going for them. Their sound was heavy, yet they steadfastly refused
to fit into neat categories. So what happened? The Welsh boys are back, with a new line-up and an approach that's best described as 'confused'. They seem
so certain what they want to avoid, but haven't given enough thought to establishing their own craft. So, this ends up as five songs that are like a polecat
straining at a tight leash. You know the havoc it could wreak, what's there to scare, or interest you? The band play it all well enough - kinda early Korn
shagged by Stampin' Ground - but where's the focus, and the bloody songs? A full album's coming soon, 'Song In The Key Of Fuck', but these five songs might
be a case of 'Songs In The Key Of Fuck All'.
